Day 4 – When Life Is Unfamiliar
Verse: “They were given new names…” — Daniel 1:7
Thoughts:
Babylon tried to redefine Daniel by changing his name, language, and education. But identity isn’t determined by surroundings it’s rooted in God’s calling. When life feels unfamiliar, confusing, or uncomfortable, it’s easy to forget who we are. Yet God’s purpose doesn’t shift when our environment does. You can be surrounded by pressure without surrendering your identity.

What voices are trying to rename or redefine you right now?

Sometimes I feel it’s the voices that I allow to hear the most, therefore I need to purposefully have selective hearing from what I hear intentionally and unintentionally throughout the day.
The voice of doubt, pain, suffering n no forgiveness. The voice of the enemy speaking lies into my mind that I haven't changed, that I haven't grown spiritually, that I'm still an addict even though I'm sober. The voice of the enemy is what's hurting me n trying to rename me. But I'm not phased because the enemy IS A LIAR
